Account Closure Informing

Checking accounts in the Bank with no activity within at least 180 days are accepted to be inactive accounts. You can close your inactive accounts with one of the methods stated below before account maintenance fee collection period without making any payments and you will be exempt from account maintenance fee of the relevant period.

You can easily carry out account closing operations by applying to any  branch with your valid identity card (national ID card, passport or driver's licence). You can also call 0850 222 0 900  Telephone Banking and contact with customer representative via "Other Transactions > 'Banking Transactions' > Information Update" steps for closing your account. Additionally, you can close your accounts in  Internet Branch via Accounts>Account Closing menu steps.

You are informed pertaining to your Inactive accounts via SMS, e-mail or mail at least 30 days before account maintenance fee collection periods of the Bank. In case you do not close your inactive accounts until account maintenance fee collection period, account maintenance fee will be collected.

Finansinvest Lower Limit Information

General transaction limits of FinansInvest stated below are applied for the customers carrying out transactions by connecting FinansInvest account via internet branch of the Bank as of 04 March 2015:

  • Initial limit is USD 1.000, EUR 1.000 for your Finansonline International investments. (or TRY equivalent for this amount)
  • Lower limit is TRY 10.000 for all other transactions.

E-Cas Investor Notification System

Central Registry Agency (CRA) is custodian institution of Turkey for capital market instruments that are decided to be dematerialize by Capital Markets Board. Registries pertaining to capital market instruments at CRA are preserved on the basis of beneficiary owner. E-CAS (Investor Notification System) is a system activated by Central Registry Agency within scope of investor notification services. The system aims to instantly notify investors about possible errors or abuses regarding stocks in their investment accounts and minimize or remove possible specific or systemic risks.

E-CAS: With Investor Notification application; investors can receive notifications related to the following operations through e-mail and SMS;

  • Stock outflows (sale, securities transfer, L/B market transaction, conditional Virement),
  • Stocks collateral and pledge transactions,
  • Attachments and liens laid on capital market instruments in their investment accounts,
  • Attachments and liens laid on capital market instruments that are pledged and held in their accounts.

The customers, who are not registered into E-Cas application, should make registry to E-Cas customer notification system via CRA website with e-government password, R.T ID number/CRA password or CRA registry number.

Capital Markets Board will announce when Extended Prevention Phase will be put into practice and it will not be possible to carry out outflows transactions stated below for all the securities monitored and present in another account that is not owned by the investor for the customers who do not complete their registries until aforementioned date.

  • Security transfers,
  • Conditional virement transactions,
  • Stock exchange (inside and outside) sales transactions,
  • Pledge/collateral transfers,
  • Lending in L/B market,
  • VIOP option security payment transactions,
  • Transfer transactions to EKMT.

Customers, who have not registered to E-Cas application yet, can complete their registries via https://www.mkk.com.tr/en-us/Pages/home.aspx address on "Investor Notification" application with R.T ID Number / E-Government Password or CRA Registry Number / CRA Password

About CRA Charges

Dear Customer,

As you know, you should have an account in Central Registry Agency in order to carry out transactions pertaining to products such as stock, mutual fund participation certificate etc. within scope of Capital Market Board. CRA collects some fees and commissions concerning these accounts.

In parallel with amendment in fees and commissions collected by Central Registry Agency since 07.12.2016, amendments will be applied as of 07.12.2016 for the fees collected from investors.

Scale of charge that will be valid as of 07.12.2016 will be as follows.

QNB A.Ş. Gt-30 Fund

ANNOUNCEMENT TO ACCOUNT OWNERS

LIQUIDATION OF QNB A.Ş GT-30 TYPE A EXCHANGE TRADED FUND

Request on liquidation of QNB A.Ş GT-30 Type A Exchange Traded Fund, of which we are the founder, is approved by Capital Market Board with the decision numbered 17/837 and dated on 03.07.2015.

In line with the permit numbered E.7199 and dated on 10.07.2015 obtained from Capital Market Board; fund liquidation transactions will be initiated on 14.01.2016, the first working day following the end of six (6) month period as of herein announcement.

The information concerning liquidation process is stated below.

QNB  A.Ş. GT-30 TYPE A EXCHANGE TRADED FUND LIQUIDATION PROCESS

  • Within 10 working days following the end of 6 month period, Fund assets will be liquidated within framework of the principles indicated in Fund Internal Regulations and Prospectus and this amount will be distributed to investors having Fund shares at the rates of their shares.
  • Fund Internal Regulations and Prospectus will be cancelled in the trade registry in the first working day following liquidation of the Fund assets and internal regulation and prospectus cancellation will be announced in Turkish Trade Registry Gazette (TTSG).
  • New shares will not be issued after notification of termination.
  • No shares will be issued and taken back as of liquidation time.
  • In order for distribution of Fund assets that will be liquidated at the rates of the investor shares; a special account will be opened in Istanbul Clearing, Settlement and Custody Bank Inc.- (Takasbank), concerning liquidation of the Fund; liquidated Fund assets will be transferred to this account by the founder; investors having Fund participation shares and investment enterprises where the investors have accounts will be notified to Takasbank by Central Registry Agency in a list; investors' cash amounts accrued will collectively be transferred to the cash accounts of investment enterprises, where the investors have accounts, within framework of the information obtained from CRA and distribution of these amounts to the investor accounts will be performed by the relevant enterprises.
  • Within framework of the stock exchange opinion; Fund participation shares will be traded in Stock Exchange Corporate Products Market until the end of 6 month period and Fund participation shares will be removed permanently from Exchange list and Exchange Market on the first working day following the end of 6 month period.
    • In case there are participation shares that are not refunded at the end of 6 month period, shares will be sold without waiting for order od Participation share owners.
    • As per Article 89 of Execution and Bankruptcy Law; in case of attachment on participation shares and since aforementioned attachment will be deducted from liquidation balance at the end of Fund liquidation, payments concerning participation shares with attachment on will be made to enforcement offices seizing the attachment.
    • The cash, which belongs to investors and is obtained with the sale of participation shares, will be valued in reverse repo transactions.
  • As per fourth sub-article provision of Article 83 of Capital Market Law numbered 6362; in case amounts, which are benefited and preserved in the accounts to be opened in the name of investors as of liquidation date, are not demanded, they will be registered as revenue in Investor Compensation Center.
  • All the expenses due to liquidation of the Fund will be undertaken by the Founder without being met by Fund portfolio.

Transfer of Exchange Traded Funds

ANNOUNCEMENT TO ACCOUNT OWNERS

In the 15/247 numbered meeting of Capital Market Board dated on 12.06.2015, it is allowed that Dow Jones Istanbul 20 A Type Exchange Traded Funds (Fund with Intense Equity), USA Treasury Bill Dollar Type B Exchange Traded Fund, QNB  A.Ş. BIST-30 Type A Exchange Traded Fund (Fund with Intense Equity), İstanbul Silver Type B Silver Exchange Traded Fund, FTSE Istanbul Bond FBIST Type B Exchange Traded Fund, İstanbul Gold Type B Gold Exchange Traded Fund and Turkey High Market Value Banks Type A Exchange Traded Fund (Fund with Intense Equity), of which QNB is the founder, are respectively taken over by Finans Asset Management. with the titles Finans Asset Management Dow Jones Istanbul 20 Exchange Traded Fund with Intense Equity, Finans Asset Management USA Treasury Bill Dollar Exchange Traded Fund, Finans Asset Management BIST-30 Index Intense Equity Exchange Traded Fund, Finans Asset Management Silver Exchange Traded Fund, Finans Asset Management FTSE Istanbul Bond FBIST Exchange Traded Fund and Finans Asset Management Gold Exchange Traded Fund.

The aforementioned amendments will be inscribed to trade registry on 01.09.2015. The aforementioned amendments will be applied as of registration in the trade registry.

In 2015/14 numbered and 01/06/2015 dated meeting of Capital Market Board; it is decided that "QNB  A.Ş Long Term Type B Variable Fund", of which we are the founder, is taken over by Finans Asset Management. In other respects, it is allowed that the aforementioned fund is transformed with the title "Finans Asset Management Eurobond Debt Instruments Fund" that is affiliated to Finans Asset Management Debt Instruments Umbrella Fund before transfer operations are completed in the 23/1087 numbered and 28/08/2015 dated meeting of Capital Market Board.

The amendments will be put into practice as of 26/10/2015. New participation share sales of the Fund will not be exercised during the period between publication date of herein announcement and effective date of the changes.

The shares, which cannot be rounded up to minimum share amount that is required for carrying out transaction due to conversion operation, will be liquidated and transferred to the account of the investor in cash. This amount will be determined over the price on the conversion date.
  • 7. Based on the similar management strategy, it is aimed that the Fund is associated at Finans Asset Management Debt Instruments Fund issued under Finans Asset Management. Debt Instruments Umbrella Fund and performance is increased.
  • 8. Assets and liabilities of the fund terminated will be transferred to the fund associated on the association date.

Aggressive Fund Transfer and Conversion

    The Fund aims to acquire capital gain by investing 80% of the portfolio on a daily basis in the equities of the companies regularly traded in stock exchange, as per the legislation. The aim is to benefit from high return opportunities against the high risk of the equities.

    Since the fund is the type of fund with intense equity; minimum 80% of total value of the Fund is invested on issuer interests traded in BIST, cash collaterals of futures agreements made based on issuer interest and issuer interest indexes, premiums of option agreements based on issuer interests and issuer interests traded in stock exchange and warrants of intermediary institutions based on issuer interests except for interests of securities investment partnerships. Since market timing has a crucial role in determination of investment strategy, fast and short term changes can be exercised in the portfolio distribution accordingly. Besides, domestic and foreign capital market instruments can also be included in the portfolio based on the market conditions. Foreign money and capital market instruments can be included in the fund portfolio with the rate of maximum 20% of the fund's total value.

Transfer and Conversion of the Funds to Finans Asset Management

Informing on Transfer and Conversion of the Funds that  and Finansinvest Are the Founders to Finans Asset Management.

As a result of the application made for founder transfer of 14 mutual funds, of which QNB and FinansInvest are the founders, within scope of the legal regulations; transfer of 12 funds in total is allowed by Capital Market Board. Titles of all the funds will be changed primarily with the transfer. Investment strategy, benchmarking criteria and management fees of some funds will also be changed.   • QNB Type B Variable Fund (Active) will be associated with QNB Type B Bill and Bond Fund (Bond) and traded with the title of Finans Asset Management Debt Instruments Fund as of 26 October 2015. New purchase will not be made until 26 October 2015 in the Bond Fund but sales transactions can be carried out. New purchase will not be made until 26 October 2015 in the Active Fund but sales transactions can be carried out until 21 October 2015.
  • QNB Type A Variable Fund (Aggressive) will be associated with QNB Type A Equity Fund (Equity) and traded with the title of Finans Asset Management Second Equity Fund as of 26 October 2015. New purchase will not be made until 26 October 2015 in the Equity Fund but sales transactions can be carried out. New purchase will not be made until 26 October 2015 in the Aggressive Fund but sales transactions can be carried out until 21 October 2015.
  • QNB  A.Ş. Long Term Type B Variable Fund (Prestige) will be converted into Finans Asset Management Eurobond Debt Instruments Fund with the amendments in management fee, fund content and management strategy in 26 October 2015. New purchase will not be made until 26 October in this fund but sales transactions can be carried out.
  • QNB  A.Ş. Private Banking Type B Fund (Private) will continue to be traded with the title of Finans Asset Management First Variable Fund with the amendments in fund content and management strategy as of 5 October 2015.
  • QNB  A.Ş. Xclusive Type B Fund (Xclusive) will continue to be traded with the title of Finans Asset Management Second Variable Fund with the amendments in management fee, fund content and management strategy as of 5 October 2015.
  • Due to a technical arrangement required to be performed as per regulation concerning fund transfers; QNB  A.Ş Type B Liquid Fund (Liquid) and Finans Invest Type B Short Term Bill and Bond Fund (Short Term) will be closed for trading between 13:30 - 20:00 on 5 October 2015. Trading transactions can be carried out apart from the aforementioned hours.

Conversion of Finans Asset Management Doctors Debt Instruments Special Fund

ANNOUNCEMENT TO ACCOUNT OWNERS

In the 30/06/2016 dated and 21/734 numbered meeting of Capital Market Board, "Finans Asset Management Doctors Debt Instruments Special Fund", of which we are the founder, is allowed to be converted into "Finans Asset Management Second Private Sector Debt Instruments Fund".

The amendments will be put into practice as of 16/08/2016. New participation share sales of the Fund will not be exercised during the period between publication date of herein announcement and effective date of the changes.

SUBJECT OF AMENDMENTS:

  • 1. The title of the fund will be changed as follows.

  • 2. The management strategy of the Fund will be changed as follows.

    Investment strategy of the Fund: As per Article 6 of the Communiqué, at least 80% of Fund's total value will regularly be invested in domestic private sector debt instruments. Banks, their subsidiaries and affiliates in Turkey and private sector debt instruments issued by the companies traded within BIST 30 index will mostly be included in the Fund portfolio. This fund is suitable for the investors investing mostly on fixed income securities and at the same time, wanting to use possible opportunities in other financial markets.

    For the issuers that are suitable for the definition above while being included in the debt instruments fund portfolio but fall outside of the fund strategy later on due to change in BIST 30 index scope, termination of subsidiary and affiliate structures of the banks and similar reasons; an evaluation is immediately performed at Risk Committee authorized by Founder Board of Directors. Risk Committee can made decision concerning keeping the relevant private sector debt instruments within fund portfolio and/or removing them from the portfolio within possibility of market liquidity by considering weight of the debt instruments in the portfolio, number of days until maturity, market liquidity and similar factors. However, even if a decision is made at the Risk Committee concerning removal from the portfolio, sales transactions of private sector debt instruments can be carried out within the market liquidity conditions.

  • 3. Management fee of the Fund has been decreased from annual approximately 1,97% (one decimal point ninety seven) to approximately 1,40% (fourteen per thousand) provided that the management fee falls within the maximum total expense rate of the Fund.
  • 4. Benchmarking criterion of the Fund is determined to be 25% BIST-KYD OST Index (Variable) + 55% BIST-KYD OST Index (Fixed) + 20 BIST-KYD O/N Gross Repo Index.
  • 5. Finans Invest will be Portfolio Custodian of all funds.
  • 6. Management of the funds will continue under Finans Asset Management.
